Three Ways To Never Forget About Maintaining Your Contact Lenses
People who live in the fast lane are always busy. They are so busy in fact that they sometimes don't have time anymore to sit down, have a nice and slow meal. They don't even have time to take a walk for a couple of blocks anymore.
It's a brave new world out there. We want our food cooked fast, our news delivered fast and of course we want to get to our destinations as soon as possible. Everybody is always finding the quickest way to make a buck and the quickest way to get the job done. We sometimes forget about the finer and much slower things in life like reading a good book, taking leisurely walks in the park or at the beach.
Forgetting about these little details always seems to escape us. And with those also come along cleaning and maintaining our contact lenses. We get so caught up on the other things that we do that cleaning our contact lenses usually get pushed back and back until we forget about cleaning them at all. So you would never forget about cleaning your lenses, here are a few little reminders that should keep you in the know.
1. Leave a post it on your bathroom mirror.
Every night or morning before you take a bath, you usually brush your teeth, floss and eventually shave. Before you carry on with your day or finally bring an end to it, it's a great way to remind yourself about cleaning your contact lenses.
Leaving a post it on your bathroom mirror would be a great place to put a reminder for yourself since you actually stare into that mirror for a good couple of minutes while you shave and brush your teeth. This way, it would be quite hard to forget about having to clean your contact lenses. After all, all it takes is just a few minutes anyway. And as an added benefit so you definitely wouldn't forget, use a post it that has brightly colored paper like pink, yellow or neon green so it would really stand out.
2. Set alarms on your mobile phone.
Most mobile phones nowadays come with built in features like calendars, alarms and other things. If you're the type of person that doesn't have a planner or keeps a daily routine every single day, there is also a large chance that you would eventually forget about cleaning up your contact lenses. By placing a reminder in your phone that's got an alarm set to go off at any time you choose, this would be a great way to keep track of when you need to get those contact lenses cleaned up.
3. Get someone to remind you all the time when you get home.
Finding someone else to remind you of having to clean up your contact lenses is also a good way to make sure your contacts remain clean every day. Just don't find someone that's as forgetful as you to remind you.
